Website Terms

Last updated: 2 November 2026

These terms govern your use of clairenpartners.com. By using the website you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. About us

This website is operated by Claire & Partners, a firm of advocates and a notary public at Unit 4, Chifwema Road Offices, Plot No. 203311, Chifwema Road, Leopards Hill, Lusaka 10101, Zambia. Our advocates practise under the Legal Practitioners Act, Chapter 30 of the Laws of Zambia, and are members of the Law Association of Zambia. The firm is registered for VAT.

2. Information, not legal advice

The content of this website, including our practice area descriptions, insights and frequently asked questions, is general information about Zambian law and our services. It is not legal advice and should not be relied on as such. The law changes, and the right course of action depends on the facts of each matter. Please seek advice on your specific circumstances before acting.

3. When we act for you

Using this website, sending an enquiry, using the chat assistant, or calling or emailing us does not by itself create an advocate-client relationship. We act for you only once we have confirmed in writing that we will do so, usually in an engagement letter, after completing our conflict and identification checks.

Until then, please do not send us confidential or sensitive information about your matter. Information sent before we have agreed to act may not be treated as confidential and will not prevent us from acting for another party.

4. Chat assistant

Where available, the “Ask us” assistant gives automated answers to general questions about the firm, drawn from information published on this website. Its answers may be incomplete or inaccurate, are not reviewed by an advocate before they are shown, and are not legal advice. Do not rely on them in making decisions. Please do not enter confidential details, identity numbers or information about other people. For advice, book a consultation.

5. Reviews

Reviews shown on this website are written by clients on Google and are displayed without editing. They are not endorsed by Claire & Partners, and a past result does not guarantee the outcome of any future matter.

6. Intellectual property

You may view, print and share pages for your own information. You may not copy, adapt, republish or use the content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

You agree not to:

  • use the website for any unlawful purpose or to send unlawful, abusive or misleading material;
  • submit false information through the enquiry form or impersonate another person;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected system, or to bypass its security or usage limits;
